As an advocate for Jerusalem House, you can help tell the story of how we are impacting lives through our residential programs and supportive services. Advocates serve as ambassadors and may represent Jerusalem House at corporate functions, special events, and community engagement activities as needed. Advocates will search out opportunities in the community where it’s appropriate and beneficial for Jerusalem House to have a presence and share information about the organization.
To become a community advocate for Jerusalem House you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma; a college degree is preferred
- Attend an extensive volunteer orientation
- Complete the individual volunteer application
- Pass a criminal background check
