Jerusalem House accepts some court ordered community service, however, at our discretion, we reserve the right to deny an application based on the nature of the offense.
Community service hours may be completed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Requests for weekend hours will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the needs of Jerusalem House.
To perform court ordered community service you must:
- Complete the individual volunteer application
- Pass a criminal background check
- Provide a copy of your court ordered paperwork stating the offense, the number of hours required, and the contact information of your court-appointed case worker
- Provide a copy of your photo ID
Individuals who are 13-17 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian complete the liability waiver and confidentiality/media release form. We only accept community service volunteers on an as-needed basis.
We schedule individuals to perform community service at Jerusalem House based on the need and cannot guarantee there will be an opportunity to complete all mandatory community service hours.
Once a copy of your court ordered paperwork has been received by Jerusalem House you will be contacted by the Manager of Volunteer Services.
If you have questions, contact our Manager of Volunteer Services via email or at (678) 999-9262.
