World AIDS Day takes place on December 1 each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day.

The AIDS Vaccine 200, or AV200, is a fun, challenging cycling event that raises funds and awareness for AIDS vaccine research. It is produced by Action Cycling Atlanta, an all-volunteer run organization. The AV200 happens every May, and Jerusalem House has a team – the Jerusalem House Riders. Learn more.
Joining Hearts is a 501 (c)(3), all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to people living with HIV and AIDS in Atlanta, Georgia. Read their story here. Joining Hearts raises money by holding signature special events throughout the year. Whether you enjoy spending the afternoon outside socializing with friends old and new, or you prefer dancing under the stars, their fundraisers are events everyone can enjoy while also supporting a great cause.
